Whilst the children are actively involved in nippers and the club, how can I get involved or help contribute?
There's multiple pathways and ways we would love to see you be involved with our club. Some of these opportunities which might interest you are;
Age managers use their experience and passion for youth development to mentor Nippers and facilitate fun learning programs that encourage and develop young surf lifesavers. Their goal is to enrich the lives of Nippers through the delivery of surf lifesaving knowledge and skills in a fun and safe aquatic environment.
Provides water safety for Nippers, sports events and member training as required.
Coaches work with surf sport athletes across all of the disciplines of Surf Life Saving competition.
Officials ensure competitions are run in a safe and secure environment, while maintaining rules and regulations.
Did you know you can patrol with just a first aid qualification or an Advanced Resuscitations Techniques Certificate? This means you do not have to always complete your Bronze Medallion before completing these other courses like First Aid. This is a great option for those who do not want to get in the water on patrol, but stay dry instead!
